The Bring In

Radio presenter Kamilla Rose launches her new initiative, The Bring In. The Bring In is an online platform that provides the next-gen of creatives, who are looking to work within the world of audio, TV and journalism, with advice, tips and tricks and mentorship. The aim of The Bring In, is to increase diversity within the media industry.

“It’s all birthed from some free mentoring sessions I wanted to offer black individuals looking for a career in these spaces, which inspired me to create something bigger to reach those I was unable to speak to”.

The Bring In will also host quarterly panel discussions with already established creatives, dishing up some of their experiences and gems of wisdom with emerging creative. The mentors that will be part of the 1-2-1 mentorship programme, will be from a carefully curated talent pool of senior industry figures. This will be an amazing opportunity for any emerging creative.

Kamilla Rose

Kamilla Rose is a freelancer radio presenter/producer and NCTJ presenter journalist, with over 7 years in the media industry. Kamilla started her journey in the world of journalism with no family ties or friend connections to the industry, working her way up to a producer. “I really wanted to launch a platform where creatives could share experiences and knowledge, bring together a community of working people and those looking to work in these industries”.
