The Ends Festival brought about a shift in mentality to going out in Croydon as thousands flocked to catch the likes of Nas, Burna Boy, Damien Marley and Wiz Kid this past summer. As the seasons change, the energy around the music scene in Croydon doesn’t let up as a series of live music events celebrate the boroughs spaces and the surrounding musical talent.

BRASSROOTS hits Mr Fox this Saturday for the first in a series of LIVE MUSIC gigs to light up the town centre this Nov / Dec. Following on from the announcement that PHASE will be opening up on Crown Hill, #CroydonMusicCity under the guise of #CroydonCalling.

BRASSROOTS have set stages ablaze from Ronnie Scotts to Glastonbury, London Jazz Festival to Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother, Secret Garden Party, Standon Calling to WOMAD UK & Canarias, where 40,000 people gyrated to Brassroots on the streets of Las Palmas.

From Belgium to Germany, The Netherlands to Ireland this bands’ international roots have seen well over 2500 chart appearances with their first 2 independent releases “Brassroots” and “Black Eye Friday” (Brassroots Records 2008, 2013)
